BudaHome Apartments may collect and process the following data:

a) Users may give us information about themselves by filling in forms on lBudahome.com or by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail address or Google forms. This information includes but is not limited to name, email address, postal address, billing address, telephone number, I.D. or passport data

b) Upon each of the User’s visits to lodgify.com, we may automatically collect technical information, including the Internet Protocol (IP) address used to connect users’ computers to the Internet, your login information, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform;

c) BudaHome Apartments may also collect information about users’ visit to budahome.com, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL) clickstream to, through and from our site (including date and time), page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), and methods used to browse away from the page and any phone number used to call our customer service number.

d) BudaHome Apartments does not collect payment card details of our users. In order to pay for the fees related to our Services we use third party payment processors that will collect and process the payment card details of our users.

e) BudaHome Apartments is also working closely with third parties (including, for example, business partners, sub-contractors in technical, payment and delivery services, advertising networks, analytics providers) and may receive information about you from them.

4. PURPOSES OF THE PROCESSING

The purposes for which the personal data are processed are the following.

    - Providing local authorities with the guest's registration information as required by Hungarian law as of January 1st, 2017.
    – Organizing the guest's arrival by communicating with them through the digital means (email address, Whatts App, Viber, Skype, phone etc.) provided during booking or by filling out a Google Form

    - Support and assist guests during their stay at BudaHome Apartments via one of the previuosly mentioned digital means
    – Customize the Services to the individual needs of users;
    – Notify users about changes to our Services.

BudaHome Apartments will not use users’ personal data for profiling purposes and will not take any automated decision based on it.

5. DATA STORAGE

The personal data provided will be forwarded to the local authorities as required by the local laws. Afterwards it will be kept as long as the data deletion is not requested by the user. Likewise, data will be kept according to the legal time-frame set forth in legal, fiscal and accounting matters, taking as reference the date of the request for data deletion.

6. LEGAL BASIS FOR THE PROCESSING

The legal bases for the processing are the following:

– In case of booking through the website, the legal basis for the processing is the performance of the contract entered into the parties.
– In all other cases, the legal basis for the processing is the consent provided by the user.

7. DATA DISCLOSURE

Users personal data will not be disclosed to third parties without the guest's prior consent.

These third parties are:

Hungarian authorities, specifically the Foreign Travelers Tax and Revenue Office (Idegenforgalami Iroda – Kapisztran Ter – 1012 Budapest)

Local vendors offering products and services (such as airport transfers, city tours etc.) In this case data will only be shared if the guest has requested any of these services.

BudaHome Apartments also may disclose personal data of our users as required by law, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect the safety of our users or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

8. RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT

Each user (data subject) have the following rights regarding its personal data:

a) Right of confirmation: to obtain from the controller the confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him or her are being processed. If a data subject wishes to avail himself of this right of confirmation, he or she may at any time contact our data protection officer or another employee of the controller.

b) Right of access: to obtain from the controller free information about his or her personal data stored at any time and a copy of this information.

– The data subject withdraws consent on which the processing is based according to point (a) of Article 6 (1) of the GDPR, or point (a) of Article 9 (2) of the GDPR, and where there is no other legal ground for the processing.
– The data subject objects to the processing pursuant to Article 21 (1) of the GDPR and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing, or the data subject objects to the processing pursuant to Article 21 (2) of the GDPR.
– The personal data have been unlawfully processed.
– The personal data have to be erased for compliance with a legal obligation in Union or Member State law to which the controller is subject.
– The personal data have been collected in relation to the offer of information society services referred to in Article 8 (1) of the GDPR.

e) Right of restriction of processing: to obtain from the controller restriction of processing where one of the following applies:

– The accuracy of the personal data is contested by the data subject, for a period enabling the Controller to verify the accuracy of the personal data.
– The processing is unlawful and the data subject opposes the erasure of the personal data and requests instead the restriction of their use instead.
– The controller no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of the processing, but they are required by the data subject for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
– The data subject has objected to processing pursuant to Article 21 (1) of the GDPR pending the verification whether the legitimate grounds of the controller override those of the data subject.

f) Right to data portability: to receive the personal data concerning the user, which was provided to a controller, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. The user shall have the right to transmit those data to another controller without hindrance from the controller to which the personal data have been provided as long as the processing is based on consent and the processing is carried out by automated means. Furthermore, in exercising his or her right to data portability pursuant to Article 20 (1) of the GDPR, the data subject shall have the right to have the personal data transmitted directly from one controller to another, where technically feasible and does not adversely affect the rights and freedoms of others.
